How To Install HID Lights on your FTO
.:Step 1 - Remove Standard Low Beam Globes from Headlight:.
They simply just twist out and then unplug the globe.
.: Step 2 - Testing if they actually work
Plug in the matching plug from the ballast (huge box thing) into where the standard globe went and plug in the HID light bulb into the ballast, switch on your headlights to see if the lights work.
.: Step 3 - Mounting the Ballast
Mounting it is up to you, keep it mind it needs to be somewhere that is dry to prevent the ballast from getting wet. I chose to mount it where it could not be seen in the engine bay, the engine bay is crowded enough. I removed my front bar and installed it behind the front bar rheo, picked below. There is a few places you could mount it, such as next to your horn or under your headlights, just a couple of suggestions.
here is the general area i chose to put the ballast
i chose to mount it behind the front bar rheo as you can see
.: Step 4 - Running the Wires
Run the wires from the ballast (ballast power and bulb power) up to globe, theres a small gap next to the headlight which brings the plugs right next to the bulb.
wires were run up like so.
Congratulations! You've Finished
